Trades Online Academy courses are designed and created for any one interested in a career in the trades, at any level. We offer various courses that are geared toward the different skill levels each student may have. While the “pre-requisites” won’t prevent your from enrolling in a specific course, we highly recommend students identify which courses are best for their skill level or intended outcome and enroll accordingly.

Our trades courses are built using both theoretical education (videos and/or lessons) and practical knowledge (hands-on learning). Depending on your proficiency in other areas, some students might complete courses faster than others. Our courses are designed to range from 5-60 hours, with a fair blend of both knowledge types. While the theoretical knowledge can be completed anywhere, the practical knowledge will need to be completed with specific materials in a safe environment.

You can decide to do an in-person trades course for weeks, months or even years, but that will likely costs hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. If you opt to go with our online course, you control when you learn, the pace at which you learn, and how much you want to learn at any given time. In addition, you will have full access to the course for 365 days – unlike other online trades courses that give you just one month (that cost more as well). These course will teach you the fundamentals, as well as veteran tips, that you need to feel confident as a new tradesman.

We offer a complete refund for anyone who hasn’t yet started the course. We also offer a 50% refund for anyone who has begun the course and not completed it. If you are in need of assistance for a refund, please contact us.

Each student will have access to the course for a full year after they purchase it. If you complete your course and would like continued access to practice your skills and procedures, you can request additional time by contacting us.

Not quite. While we wish we could guarantee all of our students secured jobs after completing this course, this is not possible. This course is designed to teach you the necessary skillsets to feel confident and ready as a welder in the field, however specific job placement will depend on a variety of factors that we will not have control over. 

All of Trades Online Academy’s courses are built to be completed on your time. This provides you the ability to learn at your own pace from anywhere. This also allows you to go over the courses multiple times until you feel comfortable, if you so choose.

The Certificate of completion is included in your enrollment fee. To get the certificate you must first successfully complete the final exam. Once that is done, you will receive your Certificate of Completion in 3-5 business days.

Our Trade School Online Courses provide a high-quality mixture of both knowledge theory and hands-on practical experience, which does include a certificate of completion. We also aim to prepare students for certification tests with their respective trade and provide the skills needed to pursue additional qualifications.

Yes! In fact, we encourage you to complete the course with others. Keep in mind that both you and your friend will need to register separately. Each of you should complete all sections and quizzes within the course in order to get your own certificate of completion.
